Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: During the final performances of both courses that are viewed as a final exam, I had lost my voice for about two weeks that made me unable to participate in the final exams. Throughout the school year, I had tried my best to hide the fact that my anxiety had become seemingly worse and refused to get professional help.I realize this now and I will be doing so over the summer. As a result of both of these courses being located in a further location (Isabel Bader centre) and not having peers in these classes that I was comfortable sharing this with, I resulted in sickness and missing classes throughout. As someone that is slightly sensitive to odours, the classes policy of removing shoes during the winter months often made me sick and required me to carry Gravol with me at all times that also prompted me to miss further classes. I didn't want to make a scene or really bother the professor with my problems and I realize I could have done
