Petition Letter: I am writing to appeal to drop my summer course, ENIN 204, after the academic deadline.
I was first warned that taking more than 2 courses for the summer would be heavy, but I forced myself to keep up with the workload and believed that I would be able to manage it.
Along with ENIN 204, I am taking a commerce course, COMM600, ENIN340, and a yearlong course condensed into one summer term, PSYC100. Along with these summer courses, I am also in the process of starting and managing my online venture, while applying for an exchange program to various universities for the upcoming Fall, and moving from one country to another in order to do my summer internship.
The overwhelming demands of everything mentioned have caused me severe anxiety, insomnia, sensitive emotions and an overall unhealthy mental state.
I have not imagined and felt these impacts during the first month of the summer courses, but they began to kick in during the first weeks of June.
I hope that you would consider my appeal for I really do not know how to manage all this at once and I am in the process of trying to keep my calm.
