Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
After attending the Cogs100 class for the first time today, I truly feel this course is not suitable for me and my studies here at Queens university. I was prevented from going to class due to my severe migraines I get early morning and I felt pressured to take this course as many of my other colleagues are enrolled in Cogs100. After attending class, I realized that is is very heavily science based rather than expressive or a class based on my own thoughts and knowledge. It is not as thought provoking as I thought it may be.
The reason I would like to take film236 instead is that I was already enrolled in it to begin with but had to drop because of lack of time in my schedule. I would really like to be considered to be enrolled in it again.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I am currently enrolled to major in political science in 2021.
If I am able to switch back into Film 236, I think I would thrive in the course. It is much more catered to the way I like and am good at studying. The course focuses on relevant issues in the world today, which I believe will contribute to the success of my Political Science degree.
With severe migraines, it is difficult for me to enter class very early in the morning. Fortunately, I do not have any classes that begin to early and interfere with my transition.
However, since Cogs100 is such an early class with a 3 hour lecture, it is very difficult for me to thrive in the course.
Staying on top of my studies and due date have really helped me succeed in classes so far and I plan on continuing to do that.
