Re: Appeal to add fall term course (PSYC 550),

Dear Dr. Bénard,

I am appealing to add a fall term course to my timetable after the final course add/drop date of Wednesday, September 20th. The course I wish to enrol in is a fourth-year directed reading course (PSYC 550) under the supervision of Dr. Meredith Chivers.

The reason I was unable to add this course prior to the add/drop deadline is that I was only offered the position as a fall term directed reading student in Dr. Chivers lab on Tuesday, September 18th. Given the short time between this offer and the add/drop date, I was unable to retrieve the necessary permission number from the department of psychology in time for me to add the course.

If I can be of further assistance to you in processing my appeal, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best,
Nichola Burnside-Marshall
