Petition Letter: Hello,
I am appealing to receive an AG grade in PSYC 215 which I took last semester (winter 2018). The reason for this is that I had my final exam for the course deferred from April 25 to September 7. This is because my sister's wedding was on April 21st and since I'm an international student, it would not have been feasible to leave Canada for a day and come back again.
Once September came, I was unable to return to Canada because I was waiting for my visa which took more than a month over its expected processing time. As a result, I was only able to return to Canada on September 28.
I emailed the appeals section of ArtsSci regarding this issue but received no response.
I also tried to reach out to Dr. Troje but found out he has left his teaching position at the university. Consequently, my transcript shows a grade of F for the course. Therefore, I was wondering if it is possible to receive AG standing in the course since I have completed and passed everything in the course besides the final exam.
