I am appealing the deadline to add ECON 111 (2014 Fall) and drop ECON 110 (2014 Fall/Winter).
Due to extenuating circumstances beyond my control, I will not be able to attend the majority of my Econ 110 classes which are held three times a week. I am the starting goaltender for the Kingston Frontenacs OHL team. My intense practice and game schedule does not physically allow me to attend classes three times a week. I am frequently not in Kingston during the scheduled classes as I am travelling with my team making it impossible to continue in Econ 110. I have maintained a respectable grade in Econ 110 however not being able to attend class would have a direct negative impact on my academic performance especially during the second half of the course when my hockey commitment increases.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I have confirmed with Jennine Ball Undergraduate Assistant, that the course material (tests and assignments) is identical in Econ 110 and Econ 111, both classes cover Microeconomics during the first semester. Should my appeal be granted it would allow me to complete Microeconomics 2014 and then I plan on taking Macroeconomics over the spring/summer 2015 session.
