Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I would like request to add a course after the last official date for adding classes, specifically I would like to add ANAT 100. I decided to drop one of my courses last week as I was having difficulty with the material and would rather take it in class rather than online next year. As I decided to drop this course late last week I had to start searching for an elective to take instead. I wasn't sure about taking ANAT 100 until Friday, and by the time I got home from a family event on Friday night, I had difficulty adding the course as my internet connection was fairly weak. Although, I am aware that I shouldn't have left this to the last minute I didn't expect to be back from my family gathering so late, and for my internet connection to be so slow. Unfortunately, by the time my request had processed it was just past midnight and I had missed the deadline.
