Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I recently finished my first year at Queens with a medical condition that began earlier in the summer, persisting throughout the school year. I had a very difficult time keeping up with my course load as a result of major stomach pains, nausea, vomiting and other chronic stomach problems that I went through almost every day.

I have documented proof of my condition and I also went through accommodation office and sent documentation concerning my medical condition during the school year as an attempt to receive some help.

After my first year, I have decided to withdraw from University to focus on my health, and I am also left with a transcript that (in my opinion) is a compete misrepresentation of what I am academically capable of as an individual.

I am hoping that an agreement of sorts can be made so that I may have my first year grades expunged, so that I can return to my studies in the future when I am in better health.

I would appreciate any help on this matter, as it is highly important to me. I can still provide proof of my condition signed by my doctor as well as the various medical procedures that I have underwent during the process.

Thank you for your time, I hope to hear back.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: I am currently undergoing treatment for my condition. This involves intensive dietary changes, therapy and procedures such as endoscopes. My number one priority is to sort out my health.

Furthermore, I intend on returning to my studies to continue to pursue a university degree. I am unsure of whether I would like to return to Queens because I think staying closer to my home in Whitby will allow for more meticulous management of my medication, diet, and lifestyle.
