I am appealing to late drop:
CISC 322 - Software Architecture- Fall 2018. Also, appealing for credit standing the following courses:
CISC 235 - Data Structures - Winter 2018
CISC 221 - Computer Architecture - Winter 2018
CISC 320 - Fundamentals of Software Development - Fall 2018

I graduated high school (Gifted Program) at 2016, applied and accepted to several universities, and decided to select Queen¿¿s Computer Science Program which excited me the most.
Year one exceeded my expectations from both academic and social perspectives. I was looking forward to the beginning of year 2 and beyond that to what seemed at the time a promising journey ahead.
2nd Year: September 2017 ¿¿ April 2018
(CISC235 Data Structures and CISC221 computer architecture)
Unfortunately, following the commencement of my second year my health started deteriorating. Returning to school for Winter semester (2018) after winter break was a real struggle. My worsened condition was affecting my ability to perform day to day life activities and other simple necessary tasks, what made keeping up with school extremely difficult. Attending classes became a real challenge, and of all my courses in the 2018 Winter semester CISC235 Data Structures and CISC221 computer architecture were most significantly impacted. I was obviously frustrated and disappointed.
Once the school year ended I returned home and spent a significant amount of time and effort over the 2018 summer trying to improve my health, in the hope that I can return to school in September 2018 for my 3rd and get back to performing at my true ability.
3rd Year: September 2018 ¿¿ April 2019
(CISC332 software architecture, CIS320 fundamentals software development and CISC221 computer architecture)
While September was somewhat better, it was followed by a rapid deterioration of my health. This, unfortunately, resulted again in a significant impact on my academic performance, during the fall semester. Although the condition had direct impact on my overall performance, it most significantly harmed the above courses.
After winter break upon attempting to return to school in January 2019 my parents and I realized that my first and only priority must be attending to my health. My illness has become so severe it prevented me from almost all day to day activity including attending any classes. My studies had been put on a halt due to the severity of the condition.
My condition was formally diagnosed only in January 2019, hence the long wait to address these issues and put forward this request.
I am kindly asking for the courses that were significantly impacted by my health to be dropped (DR and CS). I am hoping to be able to gradually get back to school soon, and this will allow me to pick up my studies at a much better point.
