Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I have cyclic vomiting from an anxiety disorder that leaves me incapacitated for multiple days. On August 6th I had one of these episodes and unfortunately it lasted until August 26th. Because of this I was unable to complete a large portion of the course and could not write the final exam on August 16th. During this episode I visited the emergency department of KGH three times, I sought counselling and physician advice from Queen's. Eventually I flew home to Alberta to consult with my physician who has been working with me on this for a while. I am now working with him to adjust my medications. I would appreciate not having the 'fail' on my transcript, rather a 'dropped' since this was out of my control. Thank you for your consideration.
