Petition Letter: Hello,
I am requesting for an extension on an incomplete for SOCY 279. I have completed all assignments except the final essay. Over the last year I have seriously struggled with diagnosed major depression due to sexual assault and the court process that finished over the summer. I have sought out counselling and other help to recover over the summer. Although I don¿¿t quite feel like myself again, I am doing better and ready to get back to full time school and graduate on time. I Had to drop a lot of classes last year which I am taking now to catch up. I am also in the Pegasus group and continuing to seek counselling. I am ready and well to finish the course now and would appreciate the opportunity to hand in the assignment.
