Petition Letter: Hello, my name is Madison Bartlette and I am in the Sociology course, section 037 for Annie Baxter's tutorial. We had our first assignment due on September 27th 2019 which I was graded a 55. I had a death in my family on September 12th 2019 and had to pack my car and drive to Nova Scotia to be with my family and be the pallbearer in the service. I had to apply for a leave of absence through the school which I was granted and was back in Kingston just a couple days before this assignment was due. I was going through a lot of grieving while having to get this assignment done in just a couple short days. I took my time and tried to really focus on the assignment instructions and when I got my grade back I was quite upset, as well s grieving over my cousin who is now not with us.
If there is any way a prof can go over my assignment and re grade or help with way better feedback that would be very appreciated.
