Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean,
Request: I¿¿m appealing to drop SOCY275, SOCY210, SOCY226, ECON 111.
Explanation:
I got a series of the physical problems caused by the anxiety, indigestion, sleep disorder, headache and pain of heart in the past 2 months. I had tried to get therapy with those problems, but the situation is not going well. And those problems keep torturing me now until I out use of my energy and let me can not control my emotion. Conseiller suggests that I get better rest now. And I also do not get enough energy on the study and can not focus on reviews and classes. I worried about this low energy status will make me get fail on all of my courses and get a terrible GPA. Therefore, I decide to follow the suggests of Conseiller to drop courses this term and get a term break. The reason why I do not drop earlier is that I believed I could endure this illness and get focus on study, but now, I found I can not control my situation. I will finish those courses as soon as the term I come back. I need a whole term period to get a symmetrical mental health therapy to make sure I could finish my undergraduate career. I had a personal Conseiller to keep track of my mental illness in past a year, and during this rest period, I will get some help from medication and more time and quality on counselling.
The primary plan is that I will return at summer term and continue my study career, I never give up fighting with mental illness I believe I could come back in time.
And the Queen¿¿s wellness centre will prove my illness situation and provide a document to support it. Thanks.
