Petition Letter: Hi there,
The reason I am trying to drop GPHY 208 is because there has been an issue with my family lately.
They are currently in China, and because I am involved I have been constantly on the phone with them at night, due to the 13 hours time difference.
If you check with my professor or TA you can see that I initially completed all the assignments and tests just fine.
However since this family matter begun it had taken up big chunks of my time everyday and eventually I was unable to complete the later assignments.
I because so busy and overwhelmed that I did not even have time to finish a paper for my other class GPHY 227 neither.
Please try to understand as it was an urgent family matter, and while I tried to be there for both my family and my school, in the end it was too much for me to handle at once.
Sincerely,
QianLi
