Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I have been struggling to achieve in most of my classes but specifically those with language as the main aspect. This made me begin to question my learning abilities. I have been tested by a psychologist at RARC (Reginal Assemesent and Research Centre) located in MacCorrey. After testing, I was diagnosed with an LD (Learning Disability) and general anxiety. Before this finding, I was not properly accommodated to my learning capabilities. I have now been given the proper accommodation to help with my success in my studies (computer, extra time, reminder sheet for exams). After being diagnosed I have come to understand why I did not secede in both SPAN 111 and CISC 102. In saying this, I wish to have these classes removed from my transcript as I was not properly accommodated to take these courses.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I have changed multiple things to help me succeed. I am now taking courses with no exams when I can; as exams are my weakness. I am taking courses with fewer class hours so I have more time to focus on the course work. I am also taking courses with more visual aspects such as FILM, Fine Art and online courses to break up my course work and allow me to work at my own pace.
