Petition Letter: Dear Whom It May Concern:
My name is Judy Zhu and my student number is 20073554. I am currently experiencing some difficulties preventing me from arriving in Canada and I would like to ask if you could refund me full tuition.
There were some problems with my original study permit, I was approved for a new student permit on January 16th and it mailed to my home on the 22nd. My flight from Wuhan to Toronto was planned to depart on January 24. (I have attached the supporting documents to this email). However, Wuhan was closed off on the 23rd due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. I was locked in Wuhan and couldn't leave. Until now, the city of Wuhan has shown no signs of recovery. I think I cannot go to Canada this semester, so I dropped my only regular course FILM210 and keep the remaining two online courses.
I understand the deadline for the full refund has passed, but I would be so appreciated if you could consider my special situation and refund me the full tuition of FILM210.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: After Wuhan's resume, I should be able to return to Queen's in the 2020 fall semester and continue my studies. Now I have 48 credits at Queen's and 9 credits from the summer session at UCLA that I haven't transferred it to Queens yet. After I finish the two online courses this semester, I should be able to reach 63 credits before 2020 fall. I will be able to finish my degree requirements by 2022.
