Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Hello,
I hope you are safe and healthy. My first year as an international student was really rough at Queens University, it was the first time I was away from my family and friends. All of my hard and bad times reflected on my grades, and I failed to pass and unfortunately, I am on probation. For me to be able to continue as a student at Queen's university I needed a B- in all of my courses this year. Which I did except for one class. My grades have increased a lot compared to last year. I have one C+ in Sociology it is a C+ with 68. I mailed my professor he told me to contact you but is there any way I could appeal my grade. It is a really rough time now and I was having a hard time when everything went online immediately, psychologically as well. I really love Queens University and with 2 I really do not want to leave the place I now call home. I thought of doing pass/fail but GPA is increasing and doing that would decrease my GPA.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: Hello,
I will never be like myself in first year again because I was not used to it I thought I could do the courses without studying that much, but I learned a huge lesson and Queens is my home now. I will never do anything to jeopardize my standard at Queens University again. I want to change my major into Psychology and I love learning Psychology so much that I will never let go of my courses again. My grades have really increased a lot my highest grade in the first year was a C-. This appeal will help me so much because even though this pandemic changed everything, even if I am going to come back, I really want to be out of probation so that I don't think about it every day like this year.
