Petition Letter: Hi there,
My name is Connor McQuilkin. During the fall semester I suffered a severe concussion which made it difficult to attend classes during the year which resulted in me failing 2 key courses. During this time I dealt with a plethora of mental health problems that have been resolved thankfully. After the school year i dealt with the stress of moving out of my university house and the pandemic of COVID-19. Unfortunately I had to start work immediately after the semester to help my family during the tough times. The deadline to enroll in the summer course Art in the west from Antiquity to modernity past without me noticing. I really need to take this course to fulfill my degree. This pandemic has really stressed me out and made me totally forget about enrolling in my summer courses. My friend is currently in the course and has been keeping me up to date and I have emailed the professor who told me to send an appeal.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: My work has given me limited hours so I am able to focus on my school. They have given me less hours so I am not mentally fatigued. We have worked out a plan to only work 2 days a week which will still help my family out financially and allow me to work for a good grade in this class. I have been a student athlete at Queen¿¿s for 5 years and really need this course to finish my degree. 5/7 days of the week I will be focused on this class and am hopeful to enroll.
