Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I am submitting an appeal because after finding out that the fall 2020 semester will be online, I have decided to increase my workload for the summer with electives so I can focus specifically on my mandatory courses in the fall to ensure I get similar grades to what I would be getting if it were not online. This is because I sometimes struggle with online schooling and therefore want to make sure I am planning my schedule based on my strengths and abilities.

Your consideration and acceptance for me to join these classes later past the deadline would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Claire Colangelo

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: I am appealing because I know the kind of learning styles I thrive in.

That being said, I would prefer to take most of my electives that have a lighter work load during the summer to ensure that I can more greatly focus on my mandatory and more difficult courses during the fall semester. Since it has been announced that the fall 2020 semester will be online, I am feeling nervous for a heavy workload with my mandatory courses online and therefore want to prepare for that right now to ensure that I am performing to the best of my abilities.

Your understanding and acceptance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Claire Colangelo
