Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I'm appealing to have an F removed from my grades which was for the class PHIL 362 - Further Studies in Logic. After I enrolled in the class in SOLUS it didn't appear on my schedule and I didn't have access to the class on onq. I emailed the professor about this, Prof. Nancy Salay, and she replied saying it was because I wasn't enrolled in the class. I figured something went wrong or I made a mistake when trying to enrol because I obviously wasn't at this time. This was disappointing to me because it was the class I was most looking forward to that year so I tried contacting the registrar about the issue, but by the time anyone got back to me it was past the add/drop date and too late to try enrolling again and no one seemed to know what went wrong in the first place. So I just went on with the semester obviously believing I wasn't enrolled in the class because that's what I was told and I had no access to any material and it wasn't on my schedule. But at the end of the semester when I was checking my grades, I see that I got an F in that class which is now on my record.

My appeal is past the 21 day deadline because I'm from an extremely low income family and haven't had the funds to submit it till now.
