Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Dear Office of Arts & Science Appeals,

I am a fourth year student trying to gain access to my unofficial transcript as well as enrollment functions for this upcoming semester on the Solus website. Yet, there seems to be a Senate Sanction Block on my account for an unpaid class - PHAR380.

I previously was enrolled in this class along with ENIN400. Although, I dropped both courses at the start of the semester before the deadlines. It seems as though only one of the two courses were dropped. I would really appreciate if this course was removed and sanction block lifted as I dropped this course and have not participated at all in the course.

I have further proof of emails with a fellow classmate during the early weeks of the course where we were assigned a projected together, I had thought that I was mistakenly still in the course likely due to a technical error- but I told this student that I had dropped the course.

Please let me know what I need to do to fix this as I am approaching my fourth year as a Biology student and need to enrol for classes. I would like to preface this request by stating that I really need this course dropped because due to these inconvenient times with COVID-19 I due not have the finances to pay for this course along with the upcoming semester courses. I really do not know if it is possible for me to keep this course as my grade would be an F, since I have done 0 of work for it because I assumed it was dropped along with the other course.

Many thanks,

Nikta Ahmadi-Yazdi
