Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I wish to take part of my 4th year of program away on an ILOP. I want to take three courses offered by University in my home country during fall semester. Including 6.0 credits of 300 level Japanese and 3.0 credits of 400 level Economics.

1. I wish to take 300 level Japanese away on an ILOP since Queen¿¿s doesn¿¿t offer 300 level Japanese class. I am about to graduate after winter session. In order to satisfy the degree plan of my minor (World language), I have to take this 300 level language course from outside of Queen¿¿s.

2. I wish to take ECON422 offered by university in my home country. I chose ECON422, but the time schedule of ECON422 offered by Queen¿¿s conflict with ECON232 which is used to satisfy my ECON_communication plan. Since I am really interested in monetary economics, I wish I can study it in my home country.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: Taking 300 level Japanese in my home country will be the last step for me to obtain the certificate of my minor¿¿¿¿World language. I also wish to take the monetary economics in my home country. Taking this course help me to finish my Major plan. If I obtain permission to study in my home country I will be able to graduate after the winter session.
