Petition Letter: Unfortunately, I recently was a victim of a scam operation through a new employment opportunity I was hired for. To summarize the situation; I was hired for the position of a personal assistant and I was required to send interact e-transfers regarding external payments of the individual I was working for. Unfortunately, the individual was a fraud and the cheque that I was required to deposit was fraudulent.
My reasoning behind this explanation is because I am an international student I require my father to send me funding for my tuition through my bank which was frozen due to a fraudulent investigation. If the money stolen from my account was not returned I would (1) not be able to afford the tuition of the course I would like to enrol in as I split the course fees with my father and (2) I was unable to receive nor send money through my account during the time frame my account was locked.
If needed, I can provide documentation from my bank to prove this instance.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I am currently only a part-time employee (10 hours a week), which leaves me with an abundance of time to catch up with content to ensure academic success. I will reach out to the professor regarding an alternative assessment for the timeline missed and I will join online student study groups related to this course. Also, I have an understanding of the course load from discussions with previous students of this class. I am aware that taking this course now will lighten my course load next term which will assist my academic performance in the following terms.
