Petition Letter: To Whom it May concern,
I am writing this appeal to waive the 21 day deadline to drop three courses from my transcipt. I have been unable to appeal in the appropriate time because I have been suffering from depression and anxiety for over a year now, and writing this appeal is a significant stressor that I was unable to cope with. These mental health issues stemmed from surgery that was required a year previous. Recovery was painful and much longer than anticipated, which led to the failing of the courses, and my current mental state. It got to be so stressful I had to take a year away from school to recollect myself and refocus on finishing my degree. During this time I worked with various mental and physical healthcare professionals to improve my state of being. It was only this fall that I was able to cope well enough to return to my studies and finish my degree online. I have documentation regarding both the physical and mental health aspects of my situation.

Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to request that CISC 422, SOFT 423, and CISC 454 be granted permission for a late drop. I was unable to complete the necessary work for these courses to due mental and physical illness described in my previous correspondence. When I first appealed, I was unaware of the possibility of Agrotat status. Upon discovery, I believe I have finished the majority of the coursework for CISC 422 and SOFT 423, and hope that you would be able to review these for possible Agrotat status. If that is not possible, I would like a late drop to be applied to these courses.
