Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern, I hope this letter finds you well. For the vet first time, I moved out of my parents house this year. As nice it may be for some students, for me it??s simply been a living hell. Unfortunately, I am not fortunate enough to be in a wealthy family that can cover me financially for life??s expenses. My rent is 720 a month plus utilities, while the money I got from Osap does not even fully cover my tuition (you can see that I made a payment to the school personally in order to take care of my fall tuition). Since September I??ve been trying to work or sell things and just do something to be able to produce my rent for the month. On top of the stress of literally figuring out how to afford life without assistance, I also have school to worry about, personal problems to deal with, and family problems to deal with. My mother hasn??t been in the country since September. My father had kidney stones in October. My roommate/bestfriends lung collapsed in October snd to this day I??m still helping him with day to day tasks. I have challenging courses which makes sense as I??m in a challenging plan, but life simply has not been treating me well. This isn??t to say I??m not grateful, because I am. I know my parents try their best to help, but it??s kind of difficult to do so when your entire income for 2019 was 8000. On top of that, they also have to take care of my sister who goes to university of Toronto. All these things have lead me to the place I am today in this course. It??s been neglected, as much as it is my fault I have been dealt with bad cards and I??m trying my hardest. I also have adhd and I feel like I??m on the brink of depression. If I were to take a hit this big on my gpa from a course that isn??t even a required course, I just don??t know what I??d do. Please consider dropping it, it can be a huge help in me taking back my control in life, as I feel like I??ve lost it.
