Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Over the past few months, I have been plagued with challenges with both my mental and physical health and in combination with the change from in class to online student due to COVID 19 pressures and as such I have been struggling and have fallen behind in my studies. I had started very strong and have a good grasp of the material and I have been working with my medical professionals including my Endocrinologist, Diabetes Education Nurse, psychiatrist, and CBT group therapy intake nurse and feel I am now back on track to complete some courses, but time and capacity will not allow me to meet course outcomes for all. As a result, I am requesting that I drop two courses with no academic penalty. I have requested a letter of support from my specialist that I will forward upon receipt.
