Petition Letter

Petition Letter: During the period of time I was excused from school I was sent home to run any tests and be monitored at home by my parents as I vomited for roughly 2 weeks straight up to 10 times a day, I lost a ton of weight and suffered from extreme dehydration. I was prescribed medication to aid in my recovery until nearing the end of November and beginning of December I started to experience symptoms of veritgo where I would lose my ability to see / lose motor skills for very short periods of time. My doctors note does not specifically state the situation as I was still undergoing the diagnosis tests at that time. I was unable to function normally until mid way through December when my medication appeared to be making a change in my health. I am now almost back to normal being able to participate in class with an exception to digestive problems that are getting better week by week. If there is anything else I can provide your team with please let me know.

I was granted a full exemption from school up until the end of my time period being December 10th. My history 108 exam, which I should have been exempt from was graded a 0. The professor made no emails or announcements regarding a deferred exam and sent me here to request an appeal of the grade as it was out of her power to do so once the grade was inputted. I Lost 20% of my grade off a mistake that shouldn't of happened and I am writing for assistance as only your team has the ability to appeal a grade. My professor stated that she did not receive and email regarding my extenuating circumstances yet I have proof of the email that was sent to all of my professors. All of my other classes exempted me and that's why I know It worked. I do understand the high amount of emails the professors receive but it is frustrating that I have to go through this process. I hope you understand. Thank you so much for your time.
