Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I am appealing to add LLCU 295 - Indigenous Perspectives on Water (Winter 2022), to my course load, and to drop DEVS 352 - Technology and Development (Winter 2022) after the last official date to add a course.
I believe that LLCU 295 would be a greater than DEVS 352 asset to my education as it focuses on Indigenous perspectives on sustainability and water - and I wish to pursue a career in Indigenous and environmental advocacy.
I was not aware of this course offering until recently and would truly appreciate the opportunity to join this class.
I am committed to doing all that I can to catch up on the content and to be an active participant in ongoing discussions.
I truly hope you see the legitimacy of my request in this matter.

Academic Plan: I have already begun to engage in LLCU 295 course material as one of my peers is in this course. I will continue to be committed to bringing myself up to speed and to delving into the course content as much as I possibly can.
I will meet the professor and teaching assistants, if they are willing, to further understand what I can do to be fully engaged and well-positioned in this course.
