Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello,

I am applying for an academic aegrostat appeal in regards to my midterm grade only which was marked as a 0 not written due to a death in the family as well as ongoing mental health issues which did not allow me to perform at that time to or be able to focus on school within that period. It had lasted me around 2 weeks before I was able to try and continue my courses because of the weight and effect of loss and depression. I had sought for professional help and to the best of my ability was not able to perform academically or focus as I felt the snowball from ongoing prior issues leading up which had cumulated. I have also reached out to the counselling services offered by Queen's and will now be getting ongoing support for my issues and have discussed this incident with them as well and received documentation. My goal is to get ongoing support and create a plan to overcome ongoing mental health issues.
