Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern,
The past few months I have seen my mental health and, consequently, my academic performance severely deteriorate. Being in Kingston during this time certainly has not helped. Most days have been a struggle to socially engage, never mind attending lectures and tutorials especially those in person. I am currently seeing a psychiatrist and have started medication (Venlafaxine). The past few weeks I have been going to class and am doing my best to catch up on course materials.
The reason I am humbly requesting that I drop DEVS 392 Topics in Developt Studies I: The (De)Colonial Struggle W22, compared to my other courses, are because there are a lack of resources on the OnQ page that would aid me in catching up with course content. There are no visible links to course readings or pre-recorded lectures. Because I have missed the vast majority of lectures, this makes catching up in this course, never mind others, extremely difficult.
I hope this gives sufficient reasoning as to why I am appealing today.
