Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: In 2020, I suffered from a head injury, Unfortunately it impacted my brain, ears and smell. Over the past one year I have gone to many doctors to try and figure out what was still going on. I was still suffering from symptoms that seemed to have prolonged. After coming back to Canada and going to another doctor, I was finally diagnosed with Post concussion syndrome and unfortunately depression and anxiety. It has impacted me in a way where everything seems overwhelming. The process to understand have been impacted which allows me to take a longer time than usual to understand concepts.
The reason why I didn??t drop my courses before the date is because I have been conflicted about what to do and needed guidance to make some decisions about my future. I hope you can grant me the opportunity to lessen the course load until I can get better.
