Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Too whom it may concern,

I feel as a first year political science student the effort I put forth in my final essay of this semester deserved a higher, if not a much higher mark than I received. I spent a great deal of time researching and completing this assignment in the format the Professor of this course desired, and I feel like this was not represented in my final grade. This paper accounts for 30% of this terms mark, and as a first year student with a desire to major in political science I feel like my paper was not graded correctly, and I have a right to seek an appeal. All I ask is that my paper is looked over by another instructor in an objective manner, and to receive a grade that reflects the actual value of my work.
