Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,

My extenuating circumstance is my mental health struggles with both anxiety and depression during the Winter 2022 term. My condition(s) impacted my ability to complete several assignments and attend certain classes. I only recently began speaking with a therapist which has provided me with the support I need to get me back on track as well as supporting documentation to gain an academic consideration. I am hoping to receive a consideration which would allow me more time to complete these courses. However, I was unable to receive my supporting documentation from my therapist until now which prevented me from submitting my academic considerations before the deadline. I am now in a place where I may fail several courses without these considerations which would be disappointing because my mental health severely impacted my academic performance during the 2022 Winter term.
