Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am appealing to drop two courses (bio 103 , classics 103) after the academic deadline. I've had a psychological challenge going on for all my university career. Due to that, I had to take the fall semester off. I've been going to individual and group therapy, and been taking medication. I came back for the winter semester confident I was ready, but it's evident that I was not. My severe depression prohibited from being able to do normal every day activities, let alone sit down and concentrate on the course material as i should've. My psychological challenge makes it difficult to do work and subsequently I started falling behind. The whole course was affected due to my inability to work. I have been seeing a therapist at La Salle and she has generously provided me with a letter explaining my situation. Please consider that while you deliberate this case. Thank you.
