Petition Letter: Hello,
I am requesting an Academic Appeal for AEGROTAT Standing in my WRIT 120 course. After looking at my final grade and due to extenuating circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to complete all the work in my WRIT 120 course which reflects my final grade. I missed a lot of work in this class due to the struggles I suffered throughout the semester. Thankfully I was able to meet with a medical professional later on in the semester to help me get through this and the remaining of the course and alleviate the stress and anxieties that I was enduring throughout all of the semester, which impacted my success and work. However, these extensions and academic considerations only accounted for the work that was remaining and did not account for the previous work affected by my extenuating circumstance. Therefore, this is why I'm requesting an academic appeal for AEGROTAT standing in this course (which was recommended by both my psychotherapist and my academic counsellor).
