Petition Letter: 1.When I first got into Queen??s University, I was planning to get into the economic program. So, I didn??t add any computer science courses for my first year. But after the first year, I just wanted to try computer science. Because I think computer science is so cool and very useful for the future. But if I want to get into the computer science program, I must rush my summertime. Thus, I added two CS courses.
Once I added them, then I realized that I have three courses in summer (one writing course) and CS courses are only one-month-time study. Also, I am a freshman in the CS field, and I have no idea what computer science is about. But I am still telling myself even though I am new, I will work so hard and will do well in this course.
I did well at the beginning, I got two B for the first two assignments. I was so happy about that. At first, I didn't even know what a ??str? or ??print? was about, etc. But after a few days?? learning, I could write a program and run it. It feels like magic.
Unfortunately I had a fever for a few days. I just lay in bed all day. I was so exhausted and couldn??t focus on anything. Without any doubts, I got a F for the next assignment. I was so stressed and upset. After that I couldn??t follow anymore and struggled every day.
So, I finally made the decision to drop this course. That's about my circumstance.
