Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Please accept this as my appeal to waive the 21-day deadline. I take responsibility for being late. I want to express that the appeal process evokes strong emotions, and as a result my anxiety and depression have been heightened, preventing me from submitting my appeal on time. My package is complete, and I accessed psychotherapy services to support me in this process, as I have found it very vulnerable and I want to challenge my avoidance patterns. I hope you can understand that I am putting my best effort forward and grant me permission to present my appeal for the requirement to withdraw for one year. I've put much consideration to this process and I have a comprehensive plan in place to support my academic functioning and emotional regulation.
