Petition Letter: Dear Faculty of Arts and Science,
I am writing this appeal letter to ask that my grades of IN be replaced with AGs. I was able to comprehend the course information and complete most of the work but due to the shift between online and in-person courses, I struggled to really get my feet under me.
I was successful in my first semester with a lighter course load, but due to my battle with my mental health, I was unable to complete and succeed in my second semester.
I know there is nothing that can be done about failing grades, but I believe that in this case an AG replacement would be appropriate.
If needed, I am able to provide documentation from my doctor and therapist which document my struggles and my battle with mental health.
