Petition Letter: Hello,
I am asking for consideration for an academic appeal due to being sick with Covid-19 for almost a month. A few weeks into my DEV220 accelerated summer course, I tested positive for Covid-19 and I thought I would be fine after about a week. I unfortunately faced some on-going/prolonged symptoms that affected my overall health and everyday abilities. I have submitted a Dr's note to the Arts & Science Considerations team for review. Upon reviewing the work that I missed during my absence, I felt that the collaborative pieces, working with other students were a key factor to my success in the course and for the final assignments. I did update my teacher Ian Fanning as I was going along the process. Thank you for your consideration and if you have any questions, please let me know.
