Petition Letter: Hello,
My name is Karley Heyman and I play for the Queen's Women's Rugby team. On October 18, 2014 I acquired a severe brain injury during one of our games. The extent to which this injury has effected has gone above and beyond my control. I am unable to focus, I am still having severe headaches everyday, I have extreme mood swings, I have become depressed. All of the above have been a major factors, that have been holding me back from completing all of my school work.
I still have two classes from the fall term that I have received an incomplete on. Because of the extend of my injury, I have not been able to finish these course. I am requesting a extension on SCOY 210 and SOCY 226, for the summer so that I will hopefully recover soon and be able to complete these courses.
I have handed in a hard copy of a recent doctors note from Doctor O'Connor to the ARTSCI office.
