Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello, I'd put film 236 in my planned classes in the course planner some time ago thinking it would be added to my course calendar for this term. I was out of the country for the first two weeks of September but checking upon my return and realized it had not been added. I attempted to add the course but it was full, I am currently fifth on the waitlist.

I really do not want to take a break from my studies as I'm hoping to achieve a media studies certificate as soon as possible, so I can progress into a degree program at Queen's.

I've completed film 240 and film 260, and after I ended up on the waitlist for film 236 I attempted to find another course available online but at the time I was searching it only said 'in person courses' were available. When I checked back on the status of Film 340 (a course I was interested in that aligns with my required courses) it said there is one spot available. Is there any way I could take the last remaining spot?
