Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: As a first year kinesiology student, and varsity athlete, I am fully aware of the importance of time management and balance throughout my academic career. However, in this situation I unfortunately mixed up the final day for course modifications as I thought it was the 20th of September, and dropped my CHEM 112 course without being able to add in another one. I take responsibility for the misunderstanding that led me to require an appeal and the addition of a course following the add/drop deadline, though I have taken steps such as speaking with an Academic Advisor and doing online research into how I can come up with a solution to reach my required credits.
