Petition Letter: Hello,
I have been struggling with a lot of anxiety due to school and recently fell into a deep depression due to this. Through talking with my psychologist, we have decided that changing my plan for school and taking courses that I am more passionate about is better for my mental health, and this is why I wish to change my course. Unfortunately, I was too overwhelmed at first to realise this, but after doing so, I hope to be able to enrol in these courses. If a letter is needed by my psychologist please let me know, but I was instructed by an academic advisor to submit the appeal as fast as possible as a letter might take too long.

Academic Plan: I will be taking fewer courses and dealing with my mental illness with medication and frequent visits to my therapist in order to achieve academic success.
