Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Appeal Letter: To whom this may concern, writing this appeal today to add multiple late classes. In the previous appeal to the dean my request to apply to classes late was denied on monday even though the professors said they could accommodate and I applied only a few days after the deadline. In the appeal, the dean said they could not understand why I was unable to apply as appointments started in July, however, I stated my phone number was expired therefore I was unable to log into solus until September 20th. (This is when IT changed my information) The reason for that was because CIBC would not allow me to renew my expired debit card as the branch I went to would not accept my Passport as a valid ID (even though it was the one on file). .Now because of the slow communication back and forth over the last few weeks,, it's mid term break and I am in Kingston not able to do anything. I am an international student and I am very worried about my position as this can affect my visa. I ask that you please accept my request to at least join 2-3 courses so that I can study. I was able to reach out to academic advising on wednesday, however, I have been very discouraged and am writing this as a last request. Thank you
