My name is Charles Mackinnon and I am resubmitting this appeal today asking for permission to be a visiting student at the University of Calgary. I would like to take economics credits there next term toward my degree as I will not be returning to campus. My mental illness negatively impacted my academic success and I have decided to take a year away in the hopes of getting a better handle on my depression and suicidal ideation. I have already submitted this appeal previously, but my GPA did not reach the required height to allow the appeal. Now that those courses have been discredited, I am hopeful that you will allow the appeal to proceed as planned as soon as possible so I can meet the University of Calgary deadline.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: In order to take steps to finish my queen's degree, I would like to take economics credits at the University of Calgary as a visiting student. I have started going to therapy and taking anti-depressants to combat my clinically diagnosed PDD (persistent depressive disorder) and MDD (major depressive disorder).
