Petition Letter: Good morning,
I am appealing my two full-term PHIL courses. I am unfortunately not doing well in these courses, this term has been very hard on my mental health as I have been juggling a new job to help pay my rent, a new home full of people I just met, and these 5 courses. I overworked myself the first month of having a new job for rent and groceries and it has taken a toll on my mental health as well as school. I have had doctor's appointments and am speaking to someone to help me get back on track. I have already dropped two electives to lighten my load, but I have severely been struggling to keep up. I am looking at alternatives to make up for these lost courses. I have already reached out to Academic student services and they have helped me enroll in the correct classes I need to pursue an alternate major. I plan to take summer courses as well to catch up on my missing credits and next term I have a full term that I plan on doing a lot better in as I learn to juggle work, school, and a new place.
