Petition Letter: Dear Arts and Science administrator
Hello, my name is Bart(SN10042795). I am a returning student in the medial psychology and environmental science program. I am in my last semester, working hard to finish all my degree requirements by December. I had a difficult summer in 2022, I was studying abroad In China, and two traumatic events happened to my family. Firstly was the two-month Chinese government issued covid lockdown in my area and mandated mass covid testing. I was Isolated in my apartment for almost two months, and getting food and goods was extremely difficult during this time. The second event that happened was the arrest of my father. My father was imprisoned in federal prison for committing health insurance fraud. My mother and I had no idea that my father was committing fraud within the hospital we work in, and his sudden arrest caused a lot of trouble. I am currently retaking the Devs220 course that I failed in the summer. I wanted to retake Devs250. However, it is not offered this semester, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could please drop the course Devs 250.
