Appeal Letter
Appeal Letter: I like to explain that it is crucial for me to enroll in this course in USST(university of Shanghai) during this winter semester. Herein are my reasons.
Despite the fact that I am now enrolled in five courses at Queens, I was contemplating dropping one of them. The reason is because I am extremely interested in Horror Film and Film Art, which unfortunately cannot be enrolled for at Queens this term.
I'm planning to start my career as a filmmaker in Shanghai this summer, the study experience in Shanghai and learning how Chinese school approach film education is really important to me.
I've previously discussed my plan with my undergraduate chair, who respects my choice and supports my appeal, therefore I genuinely hope that my petition will be granted.
And I'm planning to drop my FILM220, so that I won't exceed the limit of taking 18.0 point of course in one semester. (I believe this this the main concern for the associate dean to denied my appeal)
Thank you for your time reviewing my appeal. I just want to let you know decision is quite important to me. If my petition got rejected, I might be forced to change my whole plan (both academically and personally).
