My name is Zheng Rongyu (20154949) and I am writing this letter to appeal for an additional six credits of optional courses at Chinese Culture University for the fall and winter semesters of my final year. Since I will be traveling between Kingston and Montreal for about a month in the second half of the semester to prepare for my Film460 final project, I may not be able to take all five in person classes; therefore, I planned to take 2 more courses during the winter term, and because I have already taken 6 credits in the 2022 fall term, so I am writing it to ask for your permission. That will be really crucial to me which can help me graduate on time. Thanks for reading and understanding, and I sincerely hope to get your reply and help.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: For my academic plan, in the winter term, I plan to take four in person courses at Queen??s and two online courses from Chinese Culture University. That's a total of 18 credits and it can let me graduate on time in 2023.
As for the elective course of Chinese Culture University, I plan to choose one called Astronomy Solar System, because I am really interested in astronomy and have a certain understanding of it which I believe I can learn it well. And also another course called Human Geography, since I have learned geographic-related courses such as GPHY102 in the 2nd and 3rd year at Queens, I??ve already had a good understanding of world geography and environment, so I want to learn more about human geography this time to broaden my knowledge. During the study period, I will attend class on time and finish the homework assigned by the professors. Also, I will treat every exam seriously to get good grade in these courses.
