Petition Letter: To Whom it may concern,
I am submitting for appeal to drop ANAT 312 for the fall 2022 semester as I have had extenuating circumstances beyond my control. The event that happened to allow me to be in this position took place on November 18, 2022 therefor I was not able to drop the course before the deadline. The circumstances have made it for me to now be behind in school and as well as dealing with the grief of a loved one. On top of the recent events that have occured for me to be in this position I was also not correctly accommodated for midterm examinations in this course. Therefore this has lead to many complications in being accommodated for the circumstances that I am now facing. I also feel as though dropping this course would set me up for success in completing my other courses this semester as well as next semester. I was advised by Anna van der Meulen, a member of the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies staff, that this would be the best course of action given the circumstances.
Thank you for your consideration,
Isabelle Pilon
